Educated at the University of Western Ontario (LL.B. 1974) and Georgetown University (LL.M. 1978). Called to the Bar of Ontario, 1976. Prior to her appointment, Partner McCarthy Tétrault (practice leader in the firm’s taxation group and member of the national Board of Directors) and author of various articles and publications on tax issues. Member of the Executive Committee of the Canadian Tax Foundation, Taxation Section of the Canadian Bar Association. Appointed Judge of the Tax Court of Canada on March 20, 2003.
