Born in Calgary, Alberta. Educated at the University of Saskatchewan (B.Ed.1975, LL.B. 1982). Called to the Bar of Saskatchewan in 1983. Practiced in the private and public sectors. Member of Parliament, Saskatoon-Humboldt (1993-1997). Appointed Judge of the Tax Court of Canada on June 19, 2003.
