Educated at University of Ottawa (LL.B. 1982). Called to the Bar of British Columbia 1983. Prior to his appointment, Director of the Tax Law Services Section in the British Columbia Regional Office of Justice Canada, member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and Tax Subsection of the Canadian Bar Association. Appointed Judge of the Tax Court of Canada on December 12, 2002.
