Educated at the University of Sherbrooke (B.C.L. 1972), Hague Academy of International Law (graduate studies in International law), and University of Ottawa (studies in Business law). Called to the Quebec Bar in 1974. Prior to his appointment practised tax law, corporate law and commercial law in the private industry (2002-06), with private law firms (1979-2002) and with the Federal Government (1974-79). Appointed Judge of the Tax Court of Canada on October 27, 2006.
