The Honourable MAX M. TEITELBAUM

Born January 27, 1932 in Montréal, Quebec. Education at Sir George Williams College and McGill University Law School. Called to the Quebec Bar, 1958. Appointed Queen's Counsel, 1976. Appointed Judge of the Federal Court of Canada, Trial Division and ex officio member of the Court of Appeal, October 29, 1985 to October 30, 2000, at which time he became Supernumerary Judge. Appointed Judge of the Court Martial Appeal Court of Canada, January 9, 1986. Since July 2, 2003, the date of the coming into force of the Courts Administration Service Act, Supernumerary Judge of the Federal Court. Retired on January 27, 2007. Appointed as Deputy Judge of the Federal Court on January 29, 2007. Address: Federal Court, Ottawa, Ontario, K1A 0H9.
