Born May 2, 1927, in Fort Francis, Ontario. Education at Carleton University, McGill University and Ottawa University. Called to the Quebec Bar, 1954; partner at the firm Chevalier, Frenette, Chevalier, 1954-1965; Quebec Provincial Court Judge, 1965-1978; Superior Court Judge, 1978-2002. Wrote a book on the assessment of damages following bodily injuries or death in 1960 with supplements. Joined the Federal Court as Deputy Judge July 18, 2007.
